Named after dashi, the slow-built Japanese broth behind all great Japanese cooking. Ramen broths simmer for hours, sashimi is sliced fresh, temaki is rolled to order and the gyoza arrive with the right amount of char.

“Amazing amazing experience at Double Dashi today! Great decor, speedy service and our waiters were excellent. The katsu curry, gyozas and yakitori were out of the world; I also really liked their matcha shake! The ambience is heaven for anyone who loves anime/manga. They have a whole wall papered with anime posters and WSJ covers. The sign on the entrance door is tongue in cheek and made me laugh. While the portion sizes are small (especially compared to the price), the food is absolutely delicious and makes up for it. 100% would recommend to anybody into Japanese food and culture. Special shoutout to the Katsu curry, it’s the best I’ve had in the country.”
