Double Roti is a smash-burger bar in Chennai with two outlets: a 4th-floor rooftop terrace in Anna Nagar East and Cenotaph Road in Alwarpet. Open daily from 12 PM to 11 PM since 2015, it is known for the Area 69 smash burger, birria tacos and thick shakes, and is rated 4.5 on Google from 12,700+ reviews (September 2026).
Double Roti opened in 2015 and has spent a decade getting one thing right: a double-smashed patty with a caramelised crust, stacked high and served with fries. The menu grew around it with birria tacos, loaded nachos, rice bowls and thick shakes.
Anna Nagar is the rooftop: a 4th-floor terrace with open-air seating and the only Double Roti pizza oven. Alwarpet sits on Cenotaph Road, in the same building as Double Dashi ramen.
